“Dimolto” in our dialect means something special, something very good. This wine produced with Nero d’Avola grapes, which grandfather Michele Giusti had already cultivated in Val di Chio in the 1950s, is a tribute to this wise and innovative man who had passed down to his family the pride of representing a territory through his excellent products. The label of this wine celebrates grandfather Michele, bringing back his original signature with an image that remembers him at a moment of tasting wine. The Nero d’Avola grapes in Val di Chio reach perfect ripeness only in special vintages, so this wine is produced in a limited edition during the right years. The first edition is our 2013 vintage, of which we produced 1400 bottles. Dimolto, is an elegant Tuscan red wine with spicy notes and aromas of wild berries. Intense ruby red color. Warm taste with hints of wild blackberry, to pair with red meats and aged cheeses.
